Lazy day outfit & Finals studying tips!

Finals is here once more which means, bummy outfits to school. I love the outfit below,because it looks like you kind of tried, when you didnt even do much. Now, thats my kind of style! Here are some of my tips for studying for finals:

1. Don't panic, and try to get  as much done as you can when you can.There's always tomorrow.
2. Remember to eat.(sometimes I forget to eat, because when you're working so hard, you just don't feel hungry)
3. If you don't get sleep,your body will eventually  crash on its own.

Broke girl,but new shoes?

Early October I managed to order online from Target's BOGO on shoes. Target is currently having a winter sale right now with this same BOGO deal going on. I am not sure of how long it will be up for so go check it out! "But... Ms R  aren't you a broke  college  student?" Umm  yeah! How did you manage to get all these shoes?

Ravishing Review: Maybelline Baby Lips

 

Oo baby,baby, ooo baby baby- Lips! Have you ever used a chapstick, lipstick or gloss that felt like it was just sitting on as a film  of  layer on your lips? Don't you just hate that?I have been using this product for several months and it still works great!

Orange & Yellow Nails

Orange is now one of my favorite colors especially the color I am wearing!

Items used:

• $1.99 nail polish CVS   (yellow, bright sparkly orange, and green nail polish)
• Tape
• Scissors to cut a thin strip of green.
• Base coat/ top coat

Look at dem' Wings!

I spent the weekend with my friend  and her significant other and we ended up eating Tyson buffalo wings with plain yogurt ( dont knock it till' you try it, its soo good!).When I got home,I missed them sooo much! Even though,just a week passed. I was craving wings again solely for that reason. Thus, I ventured to the supermarket to find these Tyson wings.Unfortunately, they didn't have them! I did not want to go to another supermarket, so I ended up just buying wings, and making it myself. A pack of 10 wings was about four or five bucks. I made several different versions breadcrumbs,bbq,buffalo style,and jamaican jerk seasoning. Its really easy!

1. Prep and season wings anyway you'd like.I like season my wings overnight so that all the flavors soak in.
2. Place in a pan or baking sheet and bake these wings for 15 minutes at 360 degrees.
3. Take out of the oven and drain the juices out.
4. Flip the wings over and bake once more.Once this side looks golden brown or desired crispiness remove from the oven and let it cool off.
5. Plate and serve.

Tuber Swap Time!

So I'm super tired- and I apologize AGAIN for the inconsistency in my postings but i literally just got home from an 11 hour shift and my everything hurts, but hey!

 Anyway- i decided since i am sucking at finding new Youtubers to watch (I spent an unhealthy amount of time stalking the tubes...) that you and i should do a tuber swap- where i share with you some awesome amazing Youtubers and you do the same in return (share with me in a blog post or comment or in an email- either way i'm watching your suggestions) Well...lets see how this goes. Here's my list!!!

Adonde aka Swoozie! This guy- Whenever one of his video's pop up in my subbox i get the instant giggles. He's sooo  funny. Honestly its amazing. I cant even decide which of his video's are my favorite. He's just that good.

And then theres the channel Geek and sundry- Which I dont know if you know who Felicia Day is but you should- ( she's in the guild, eureka, dr horribles sing along blog! Uh hello?!!)  she set up Geek and Sundry which is a channel with a bunch of shows catering to all the geeks out there- one of the shows on G&S  is called written by a kid and my god watch the video and prepare to laugh!

The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory!

Presh and I took  a trip to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, then we took the ferry . It was a lovely despite the fact that Presh is not really a boat person. The ice cream was delicious, $4 a scoop. I liked the strawberry ice cream, but it  is not something I would go out of my way to have.  I definitely recommend visiting this area in general. Enjoy my pictures below!

I've been sick. Still am- And between practically coughing out a lung not being able to sleep right or eat much and still being forced to go in to work i just have no energy for anything.

Todays my first day off in a while and I just wanna sleep (or attempt to) and continue to contribute to my ever growing mountain of tissues. The only thing thats been making me feel relaxed is the books i've been reading.

Well the books i just finished. (I was reading the last two books in the hunger games.) Now im bookless- and grumpy and thinking about ordering new books from amazon. (Ive got my eyes set out on this and this.)

Before I got sick I did a few things...

I started a care package for my younger brother (he's in college) And i was about to ship it until I realized my older sister ate some of the things I put in there for him. (thanks wendy.)

The picture is about  two thirds of whats actually in the box. Its going to cost me an arm and a leg to ship this though. So little brother when you read this. You're Welcome.

Note to self....hold a giveaway

So I know I've been off the grid for a while and i suuuuper apologize. To make up for it Im hosting a few giveaways over the next couple of weeks. And the first one is for those of us that procrastinate when they really really need to get stuff done. Presh's August Favorites

So considering august is my birthmonth and my birthday passed, im going to share with you some of the things i've learned that I cant live without. thats right yall its time for my August favorites!

 

Cocoa Butter lip balm hunny! This stuff MELTS your lips. Dry and cracked is not an option with this balm. 

 So I dont indulge in chocolate a whole lot....at least i didnt use to, but then they started selling these godiva white chocolate vanilla bean and the milk chocolae salted caramel at my job and oh my jesus are these the best darn chocolate bars i ever tasted!

So These Last three items are  the beeest for your nails, firstly the NYC matte me crazy top coat is super awesome, it makes any nail color look matte (duh) and Essies good to go top coat  makes your nails SO shiny its equally awesome. And lastly are the impress press on manicures. Im not going to say anything about those because you'll find out more about them in a couple of posts. :)

It's getting hot in here...

So I went to Applebees, like 3 days ago because i was CRAVING wings. I ordered them country style and when  I got home they were more like...crappy style.
That was terrible.
I apologize, but they were really bad wings.
I was highly disappointed. They were sauceless but they weren't crunchy and they had NO flavor. Needless to say I'm not going back to that location. Now my problem was that i had 10 wings that tasted like crud and they got soggier over night. So being the culinary genius that i am I turned these cold lame wings into...

Super Duper Hotwings!

I wish I had thought of taking a picture of the dull wings before I made them all saucy but it's cool. 

Any who All i did was melt a tablespoon and a half of butter in a pan, added some Cajun seasoning (which is just paprika, salt, black pepper, red pepper, onion and garlic powder) then doused that sucker in hot sauce and tossed in the wings turning every so often so it gets coated all the way through. And let me tell you this was YUMMY although it wasn't as hot as i wanted it to be so i dipped it in some sirachas and sweet baby Jesus my mind was BLOWN. These were delicious. Oh yeah there's parsley flakes as a garnish but honey that's just for show. Its good with or without it.  So y'all go ahead and try this next time you have some left over wings and im guaranteeing you wont be disappointed.
