Lazy day outfit & Finals studying tips!

Finals is here once more which means, bummy outfits to school. I love the outfit below, because it looks like you kind of tried, when you didnt even do much. Now, thats my kind of style! Here are some of my tips for studying for finals:

  1. Don't panic, and try to get  as much done as you can when you can. There's always tomorrow.
  2. Remember to eat.(sometimes I forget to eat, because when you're working so hard, you just don't feel hungry)
  3. If you don't get sleep, your body will eventually  crash on its own.

Necklace Recon!

So I am an avid ebay shopper. I love buying cheap jewlery from there and when i came accross this necklace for $3 i bought it.Look how long it looks on that headless woman....and look how long it looks on me. Needless to say I am not amused.

But when i bought these earrings a few months ago i thought it would be pretty nifty to combine them into a super cool looking earring/necklace combination thing.
 /evil scientist laugh/

(SIDE NOTE:Now i am no fool and i love these earrings....there were only $2 so i went back to the same store i bought them from and got myself another pair.)

And morphing them was super easy...
1. I really just needed plyers
2. I opened the hooks and removed the
chains from the bottoms of the earrings
3. removed the clasps on the necklace and
put the hook from the earrings through the necklace
4.I closed the hook
5.all done.
See! Super easy!
(ignore the nails...they need to be done i know....)

And now i have a rocking earring/necklace thing. Isn't it awesome?

Until Next Time,

DIY: The Rope Scarf

Presh and I were inspired by MsVcharles(one of our favorite youtubers)  to make a  rope scarf! You can check out the tutorial  at the link below. It was really easy and cheap! I spent a total of 4 bucks! All you need is a crochet needle, and three spools of  yarn. I found these materials at the local 99 cent store, since we don't have a Walmart, Joann, or Michaels like Presh does where she lives. It took me about an hour and a half to complete. This is a great project to do when you are bored on the train, taking a study break, and great gifts! I hope you will be inspired to create this too!  I am looking forward to  making more of these, and most of all  looking soo cool with my new scarf! If you make one of these scarf's definitely post on an image on this blog or on Ms V.'s youtube channel!

Something Old, Something New! (No wedding needed!)

This week I challenged Romes and myself to make a post incorporating the old wedding custom of
something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
So a little background info:
Some months ago i found this necklace off of ebay for $2.80 (price includes shipping.)
The one i bought was more of a bronze color...
I ordered it and waited a month for it to get here when it did and i wore it once and then...it broke when a certain best friend who shall not be named decided to wear it.

Regardless of it being broken i held on to it just in case i felt like fixing it. WELL the other day i was looking at jujubead's jewlery on etsy  (shes amazing see link) and i really liked her style and her cuff earrings so i decided to give it a shot and create my own and then these were made!

How nifty are these?
( I forced mika to be my model.)
If i could change one thing ( and i probably will later on) it would be to change the top parts into studs. Either way I still love how they turned out.

Until next time,
Presh!
